Sophomore jinx? What sophomore jinx?

Sure, a debut album can take the charts & the world by storm. But for an artist or band to prove they are in it for the long haul, the follow-up needs to be as good if not better than its predecessor. These people were lucky in that their sophomore albums were either a vast improvement over their debut or at the very least proved the artist or band was not going to stop the music so soon.
